My friend has three indoor cats and is wondering if there’s a natural repellant which won’t upset the cats. Would burning a cedarwood oil help? Any other ideas?

I put a natural flea/tick repellent on my cat and now has flaking skin that is making him itch like crazy. I want to get the oil off of him, but he has never had a bath & he has all of his claws (and teeth). What soap should I use and what ways can I keep myself from bodily harm?
Realistic answers would be most helpful. Thanks!
P.S. How can I make his skin feel better?

My cats are all treated with Frontline in the spray bottle. It works for the most part. My inside/outside cat keeps bringing in ticks stuck to his fur! They are not biting him though. Anything safe I can feed him or wash him with? I’d prefer natural stuff, but I have no objection to any kind of soaps that might have chemicals in them .. as long as they are safe! It needs to repel to keep them off him totally and not just from biting him.

I live in an area where field mice are common, and sometimes they get into my house. Are there any ways to get rid of them besides getting a cat (I’m allergic) or using traps (I have small children and don’t want to leave traps around). I don’t want to use poison either because of the kids, plus I don’t want mice dying in my walls and stinking up my house. Is there anything they find repellent, that I could maybe leave around the places I’ve seen them?

I have had a cat trying to climb up my small pool, also spraying in the dirt hole my dog likes to sleep in when hes outside, he doesnt stay out 24 7 any natural cat repellents that wouldnt bother my dog?

Hi…trying to hide cats from my landlord who is staying in an apartment downstairs at the moment but the kitties keep jumping on the window sills! I bought a natural cat repellent from pet store yesterday but it didn’t work at all. Someone suggested cayenne pepper? Any other ideas?
To all of you people who want to judge rather than be helpful, we have just moved from a new country and are settling on the purchase of a new home…we took a temporary rental to avoid the cats having to be boarded for 2 months. I suppose you people would do the cruel thing and board them instead….to each their own, but I love them and didn’t want them to suffer like that.

I found cat repellant in the pet store, but it had a huge warning label FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY!!! FATAL IF SWALLOWED!!! FOR GOD’S SAKE DON’T LET YOUR PETS NEAR IT!!! (paraphrasing)
