The men (my husband and sons) feed her, try to pet her, etc… and have never done anything to make her avoid them. She runs away when they try to pet her. I, on the other hand, almost ignore her, and she follows me all over the house all day, longing for my attention. What is it?

Hi…trying to hide cats from my landlord who is staying in an apartment downstairs at the moment but the kitties keep jumping on the window sills! I bought a natural cat repellent from pet store yesterday but it didn’t work at all. Someone suggested cayenne pepper? Any other ideas?
To all of you people who want to judge rather than be helpful, we have just moved from a new country and are settling on the purchase of a new home…we took a temporary rental to avoid the cats having to be boarded for 2 months. I suppose you people would do the cruel thing and board them instead….to each their own, but I love them and didn’t want them to suffer like that.
We’ve been having problem with the neighbors cats – who were pooping in our back yard. Really annoying as you can imagine. We’ve decided to buy one of those Cat repellers available on the market – and guess what – it does work!
