My cat has a two scratching posts (one vertical, one horizontal) and while he uses them regularly, he still insists on scratching my furniture and carpet runner that is on my stairs. I have tried double sided tape and balloons to deter him. Nothing works! Please recommend a spray that I can try or suggest other ideas. And no, declawing is not an option – too cruel. Thanks!
